Awesome deal, one biggest blockbusters trades in history, am still running through who get who, etc(VBG!) i see no team being definitely better for it near term, Magic have put EVERYTHING on the years ahead--their near term future? They will drop out contention, will be non-playoff team, me thinks. Sixers are now definitely better team, they had gone as far as they could with Igoudala--Jason Richardson(will be adequate fill for Igoudala) and they now have what Thorn says is considered the 2nd best center in NBA(behind Dwight Howard-who clearly is the best). Bynum is a free agent end of next season, but no team can outbid them due to new rule, something about being able to go over cap without it being counted, to beat another teams bid--they are now well below cap. Bynum is only 24, with 7 years already as a pro, much like with Kevin Garnett at 24. They can now move Hawes in a trade for a #1 pick(likely protected, in that it can't a lottery pick) or for a solid vet point guard to back up Jrue Haliday. i now see Sixers of having their best team since Iverson was in his prime and led them to Championship game(to lose in 5 to Lakers) Are loaded with young talent, with Holiday , EvanTurner, that SURPRISE kid from Temple Allen Lavoy(i think he will allow dealing Hawes) Preseason, i pick top 4 teams in East, in order. Miami/Chicago/Sixers/then Boston or Indianapolis--i haven't ranked them that high in many moons:) With nash and Howard lakers should take Thunder--but it isn't a given. Bold face to reveal the young CORE, and this Moultrie , we will see about him. was sorry to Vucevic go--what i was he, 19---he could develop in time to a solid player for Denver. Regrds Phils, Haliday return pitching at his best past two, Utley hitting like he did over 2 years ago, and Howard getting those RBIS and HRs at good space--and Phils now playing 6 games above .500 since their Nadir at 16 below .500, has me filled with hope---but damned it would verge on a MIRACLE if Utley returns come spring training healthy and ready to go---Utley and Howard now have added together, 33 RBIs and 13HRs in about 16 games---forget their batting Averages--that is Big Time production---Utley precise numbers are 8 HRs and 18 RBIs in 16 games--and HR he hit tonight looked like a a Howard HR--it was BLASTED, zero doubt, to deep right center stands. If Utley 'miracle occurs" Phils are right back fighting for best record come next year, especially after they pick up some key players over winter--their check book is NOW ready:) Later, good to hear from you.
