I'm sure SI doesn't want to get into judging bans as just or unjust, but because it requires a post from an individual in order for a moderator to ban them, it makes it impossible for a moderator to ban someone who has never posted on their thread, thus preventing pre-banning.

SI changed the rules last year to make moderators give a reason. I certainly don't want any restrictions on my banning. Trolls just tear up a thread. And when you guys go over there, you are acting as trolls.
