There is a presumption here that you know what God is like. If that presumption does not have false basis, I don't know what does.

Religion will tell you that God created man in his own image. This implies that the image of God is not that far from the image of a chimp, at least based on religious tradition.

To say that cyberspace is like God is like saying, after having been created in God's image, man wants to return the favour (favour, really?) and create cyberspace ---- which, in truth is not a space --- in God's image.

Now we have a sequence of incongruent images ......because chimp/man are not in the image of cyberspace ...... whatever that monstrous image is.

Either religious tradition has it wrong, or Mq has it wrong. Take your pick.

I make my living in cyberspace. If there is anything less Godlike I truly do not know what it is.
