I too make my living in cyberspace and could not disagree more. Mq said "more god like" not that it was god.

I view god as being the universe plus the mathematics ,logic and laws that allow it (the universe) to exist. We may not be able to comprehend it but we can comprehend analogies of what god is. The beauty that somewhere in the expansion of Pi 3.14159323.... Is Your name, my name, and the entire Wikipedia . That is but the smallest infinitesimal piece of what god is.

From that perspective, cyberspace is more godlike than wet chemistry.
