what kind of guy has his wife up 24 hours for a little bake shop? i don't believe she was up 24 hours straight. The shop has only been open three months. The couple may not yet have a good sense of how much product is required each day, and I would imagine that much of the work that is done in a bakery is done in the late-night/early morning hours. I can see an occasional 24-hour day being put in, especially if they offer a wide selection of products and do all the baking themselves or, on random days, the business might be short of help.

my wife and I worked over 30 straight hours when I first started my company. hell one time i worked 48 straight hours. would Obama do that since he thinks he built my company

Some of us women often work 24 hours a day. Once the project is finished as in this case 'Baking the cookies for the shop' it's a real reward to stand back and say " I Did That" and be proud of the work .
