Tom, I believe we should elect someone to call Crisman (I'd like to do it myself, but don't consider myself seasoned enough to ask the right questions). We should collectively determine a list of questions and one of them should be a status report on GMR: Where are you in R&D. Have you prototyped? How does this impact MR? What percent of production do you see as MR, GMR and at what time frames? Why do you think GMR is important? Exactly when do you expect production of GMR, etc. And yes, question his credibility perhaps -- se how he responds.

Maybe I'm a naive investor guys, I don't know, but these are not secrets of national security (are they?) and he should share this information. Why should we sit around looking at eachother wondering if and when APM will reveal something that will force a nice short squeeze and of course start an uptrend I'm guessing most of us want to participate in. Hell he busted our asses (worse our wallets), so I say let's put HIM through the ringer and get some solid information.

Just my opinion, but let's get some FACTS.

Dan

p.s. We are all obviosly quite negative about APM's prospects at this point in time, which is why I'm for this. After all, most of us were wrong when we expected UPSIDE before the earnings report. So I'm admitting my blindness. APM will more than likely recover nicely SOMETIME so an educated guess at a time frame is wise.

p.s.s. Sorry to ramble, just finally blowing some steam on my APM loss.

<< he was nothing but milk and honey - everything's for the best in this best of all possible worlds.>> Tom - in retrospect, i have to disagree with you. I think we were projecting our optimistic expectations on his answers that led us to assume that all was great. For example, he never said that yields on their new heads were good, just that (if my memory is correct) " In general, yields tend to improve over time." While we all took that to mean that yields were fine, the comment didn't preclude a hypothetical followup "but in the case of the 1.7 TFI heads, yields suck".
i'd love to see someone call CC and address the TFI to MR transition - especially the comment by Haggerty that WDC was getting out of their 1.7 TFI program as quickly as possible. That statement sure didn't make me feel confident about continuing to hold APM (sounds like I might not be the only one to have held my shares). It's been an expensive education - I really feel like an idiot when I review my open orders and see a GTC sell on WDC at 55, which I placed when it hit 53 before I left for a vacation.
