China wishes to increase domestic consumption do it is not so dependent on exports and raising the minimum wage is a way to encourage this.

There is a huge market for Starbucks, Coca Cola, McDonalds, Boeing, Coach, Caterpillar, John Deer, etc. The market for Coca Cola could double KO worldwide volume, revenue and profits. It is what business people have been dreaming about for centuries but it is now going to happen. Let's not screw this up with a trade war over manufacturing gadgets or some such nonsense.
