So if Obama care is overturned the right would be happy to stay out of the abortion debate? Seriously, you need to talk to some of those on the far right.

Did we somehow change topics? The federal government is already paying for abortions without Obamacare.

There will always be some people who are going to be anti-abortion. What is important is how much influence they have in the political process.

The democrats have spun this issue such that anybody who is against federal funding of abortion or against forcing organizations who are anti-abortion into funding abortions as being anti-abortion and against women's rights. This is pure bullshit and anybody who promotes these fallacies loses all credibility.

I am not anti-abortion
I am against any federal funding of abortion (or contraceptives)
I am against forcing any organization to pay for, or otherwise provide abortions or contraceptives.

I know many republicans who have the same views as mine. And yet, the left would tag me as being against women's rights and therefore an enemy. Most secular libertarians and republicans agree with me. Hell, I know many Catholics who agree with me (my family is Catholic, though I am a bit more secular).
