<<<<<who are anti-abortion into funding abortions as being anti-abortion and against women's rights. This is pure bullshit and anybody who promotes these fallacies loses all credibility.>>>>

I think you are waaaaay off base here and totally wrong. The right has nominated Romney and he has picked Ryan who are BOTH against abortion. Not funding, abortion. Who here is being honest? My gawde the tiny amount of money that it cost for abortions could be easily picked up by charities if this was the only issue - IT IS NOT.

<<<I am not anti-abortion
I am against any federal funding of abortion (or contraceptives)>>>>>

Well I'm against unnecessary wars - but I don't get a choice in that spending. You want to compare the dollars pissed away in an unnecessary wars with the cost of the money going to abortions? ........So you're not against abortions; you okay your tax dollar paying for the birth of the child of a crack addicted mother? You okay with paying for the cost of the child born to a crack addicted mother who is then born with birth defects?

<<<<<What is important is how much influence they have in the political process. >>>

Ya! How much power. As if to endorse my side of the argument, the GOP has come out with a "Human Right Amendment" to their platform. You just can't make this stuff up - but it sure does show how absolutely wrong you are!

Tampa, Florida (CNN) - The Republican Party is once again set to enshrine into its official platform support for "a human life amendment" to the Constitution that would outlaw abortion without making explicit exemptions for rape or incest, according to draft language of the platform obtained exclusively by CNN late Monday.
