<<I'm all for anything>>

This should belong to the top of Most Frequently Made Statements of desperate men. :-)

I don't know how many geezers there are on thread but I haven't seen any web forum that can remotely approximate the usability of rn (the old Unix 'read news' software).
Current SI msg org is predominantly sequential, this feature can be improved. It also is nice to have a kill feature where one doesn't even have to see unwanted msgs (from certain posters or about certain topics, etc.)

I like the new msg notification feature also. At first I didn't know what you were talking about...but then I got a msg.

>>I also just noticed that they just added a box at the bottom of the page that contains the URL so you can copy and paste a link to the post without having to leave the location option on in the browser.

That's been there for awhile, at the suggestion of, ahem, yours truly. I don't think it appears for IE users, at least not in the version I have. You might note that the format is the sequential record number (i.e. permanent) in the SI database, not the thread/message number format, which means that it is never messed up by the nightly deletion of blank messages.

>>Now if I could just figure out why they added the frame around the reply#?

You can enter a message number (thread oriented) there, and you'll jump right to it after a newline. I'm confused as to its practical use, though.

Them craps tables have been pretty crappy. :-/
