That looks a lot like baked beans I make - I like to sneak in a little bbq sauce with it also. Thanks for the posting - I just bought some Navy beans for baked beans.

Greg, I offer you the most sincere thanks for that recipe from both myself and my wife, please pass it on to your wife.

I spent the day cooking....first, the beans as per your recipe, dough in the refrigerator for baking tomorrow, a loaf of bread made today, homemade hamburger buns, and hamburgers made from strip loins.

All was good, the beans were exceptional, probably the best I have had.

I did the beans last night , lol were they ever good today , and thank your wife , lol mine was impressed also , she said she uses the same stuff , but she cooks her's in the oven .

I think she was more shocked waking up to the smell of the beans in the slow cooker , and that I had made them .
