The Republicans with their economic policies gutted the US economy uring the Bush years. What makes you think that these policies will pull us out and take us back to the Clinton surplus. Don't you think we hold see and listen to Bill Clinton on how he got us to those days of prosperity's and budget surplus.

Obama has no plan for deficit reduction. Paul Ryan has a lot more credibility than he does. Obama shelved his own debt commission. What a joke.

Also, Romney and Ryan are taking their cues from Ron Paul. They are going to get rid of Bernanke, audit the Fed, cut the deficit, and study how to create dollar stability including potentially re-establishing the link to gold. That's a good start.

Its not time to start talking deficits when we haven't fully recovered and the 1 % are still getting their tax cuts or hiding their money in offshore accts. Get back to me next year when things change.

In Ron's book, it is not OK for Romney to be joining in McCain led chant that US should get actively involved in Syria. And I am glad that he is standing by his principles wherein he and his followers are giving shivers to the party at the convention.

The Texas congressman hasn't released them to support others as former House Speaker Newt Gingrich, another Romney primary rival, has allowed.
