Hi Pat, Still waiting for ADSL !! Checked out Alcatal ADSL demo at Comdex and was very unimpressed. My friends did a better job a presenting their product and they are a million times smaller. Alcatal had a pretty poor demo with no outside connection. It would have been nice to surf the net at warp speed. They had 2 display models, one external and one internal, and the internal version was from Hayes and looked like a regular modem card. What are your thoughts about the cash buyout? I would think you would be disappointed at $20 -- as Amati/Westell combo would have greater upside potential (IMHO). I like to thank you for all the information you provided in your posts -- to me and others, and I wish you all the best in the future. Mark
