The idiocy of the jury is beyond comprehension. It is a clear "stick it to them" verdict and nothing good will come out of it only more antagonism which the world does not need now.

Letting this judgment stand it would be a great infringement of the concept of true free trade and very damaging to guard true innovation of brilliant ideas.

The very sad part of all this is the fact that there is not an outcry from the American public against this idiotic ruling.

Awarding a patent to the rectangular shape and rounded edges of the iPhone is the most insulting and degrading sign of an idiotic society consumed by the desire of extorting money from whoever they can, no matter the means.

I do think that the real target is not Samsung but more likely Google who is a great innovative company giving away valuable software driven products for free and irks the greedy Apple people.

Two great examples is Google Earth and Maps/Latitude which I use a lot, not to mention their search engine.
