Either you don't know Ron Paul or you don't understand Ayn Rand as your statement is false. Ron Paul is a great family man and devoted husband and a Christian. Ayn Rand was about as far different from these things as a person can get. ..........Why is it we try to push a square peg into a round hole just because we differ from their politics?

Ron Paul is one of the very few congressmen who has been consistently against our huge military budget. Do you think that is a bad thing? Do you know how much money this country would have to spend on constructive ideas if we had the money to spend that now is funneled to the Military Industrial Complex supported by both parties and candidates for president?

I agree with you that many people's beliefs are being mislabeled or mistaken for one reason or another. But in the case of Ron and Rand Paul you are the one being mislead. There is no daylight between Ron, Rand, and Ayn. They all share some real looney world view that provides them very little wiggle room in a sane world.
