Mr. Aloha,

You seem to be one of the more informed investors on this thread so I'd like to raise the following topic with you. This past weekend (Saturday, November 29) while watching the NextStep on the Discovery channel one of the segments covered a story on excimer lasers being used to eliminate near-sightedness -- up to 99% of these patients can now have their vision corrected by utilizing this relatively new technology.

My query is whether Cymer has anything to do with this product sector and if not, why not? After reading CYMI's recent 10-Q it appears not ("The Company's only product line is excimer lasers, the primary market for which is for use in DUV photolithography equipment for manufacturing deep-submicron semiconductor devices."), but I'd like to hear your opinion.

I also invite anyone else with information or an opinion to respond.
