>>>Ever! Come on. For someone who never holds a stock over night what makes you an authority on the mid - long term share price appreciation potential of ASND. As a day trader I'm sure you don't waste time analyzing anything but short-term trading patterns.<<< I have to agree with Larry, here. I said something exactly along these lines a couple months ago. Attempting to project 12 months out through a short-term mentality/perspective, isn't worth much. Based upon my own analysis and in total agreement with a several others on this thread (Sector, Gary, Larry, Maverick), I go on record as of Dec 1st, stating that ASND will return a MINIMUM of 100% on a $25/share investment, sometime within 1998 (if I'm right, no big deal -- to me this is so damn obvious). By the time this happens, I challenge any trader out there to beat those returns in his trading portfolio within the time that ASND takes to hit $50 (providing the proof to verify this). Being a daytrader, as well as holding a long-term port also, I know how hard this is (shall I say: damn near impossible?) -- I bet no one will take up this challenge since it requires extraordinary performance on the part of the trader. Any investor who had the foresight and/or good fortune to wait for ASND to bottom before establishing a position, could very well put a good % of his/her portfolio down on a long-term position for 1998 at $25/share and simply wait for $50. Then whatever remainder of the year is left, could be a vacation with those returns. I didn't call the bottom correctly since I'm in at 33.5, but at least I can look forward to a 49% return...and with the position I have, maybe I'll take the rest of the year off as well. Style Pts.
