Unfortunately, Obamacare may not cure all cases of hysterical exaggeration, either. But we can still hope.

<<<<Obamacare doesn't cure cancer, either. But that hardly seems like a valid criticism, since it wasn't intended or offered as a way to do so.>>>>

Oh gosh there is NO comparison. People who pooh pooh the dangers of these lurking resistant bugs just aren't understanding the problem. The point I was trying to impress was that America and Americans are far more threatened by a pandemic than they are from terrorist. Cancer has none of the dangers. BUT C.diff and flu and MRSA and others do. AND it isn't a possibility it is a fact. 30,000 deaths - my gawd what will it take before we do sit up and take notice? Here's the deal; you go to a hospital to get your broken bone - or whatever ails you - fixed and you end up catching a resistant disease and end up dead. As one dr put it; I'd rather be operated in my garage than have to go to the hospital. This is a game changer and the reason biotech and drug companies aren't putting more resources into it is there is no money in doing so. You make a high pressure drug and you have the patient hooked for years, you make an antibiotic and you get a one time payment.
