Fat chance. You see, there is a big difference between legality and ethics. Cooking books is illegal. Cooking news isn't as long as it is outsiders doing the cooking. There has been some attempt to hold "outsiders" accountable for things they hear about a company. For instance, a parts salesman gets an increase in orders from a client. Can he buy stock in the client company legally?

Sort of like the annual ethics training I get. Last year a retired civil service employee could not go to work for a company if he/she had been involved in the management of a contract with that company prior to retirement. This year, no problem if the contract, or the piece that was managed, was less than $1M. Ethics has a threshold???
