Because if you don't have insurance, you don't need to buy it, just pay a tax. Then if you get sick and need insurance, you can get it because the government won't let people reject people with pre-existing conditions. So lots of people will be better off opting for no coverage, pay the tax, and only get insurance when they need it.

You really have no knowledge about the Dumocrats health care reform at all.
