Judy, airlines seem to be benefitting from anticipation of lower oil prices. I like ALK and LUV, with the caveat that the West Coast may be disproportionately affected by the Asian downturn. (I think we are the only state that has a significant trade surplus with Japan -- not sure yet what the effect will be.)

I'm a bit under the weather this week, but looking forward to seeing family in warmer climes later this year. Have a nice holiday weekend!

P.S. Very bullish article on 3Com cable modems in this week's Barron's. (Last December WIND announced a Tornado/VxWorks design win for 3Com cable modems.)

Judy: When you talk like that about the drillers, I get all excited! <G> Still short. How about you? Which ones did you look at.

P.S. Shorted Citicorp last week @ 119 and change. I'm almost 50-50 on short and long positions now.
