"and was JFK or George H. W. Bush the more conservative president?" Who cares? One was a D, spent a lot of money, made a lot of jobs, went to the moon. The other was an R; not so much, barfed on an emperor. Never voted for Conservative Idea for president; never voted for Liberal Idea. All we have are D's and Rs'. The ones with the R's don't do very well. The rest is revisionist history and voodoo arithmetic. OTH, was Nixon or Obama the more conservative president? Sadly, O makes N look not just liberal, but progressive. That hurts. All is not right in the universe.
