Guess I don't have much of a handle on those 2 terms

I take fascism to be akin to the corporate socialism that we labor under to this day, and advocated by "corporations are people" Romney, and "money is speech" POTUS

You know, private profits and collective losses, the old Bush regime

So it is hard for me to visualize the majority of Americans between those two

On fascism and "fascists", one slight point. The term fascism is generally employed to label macro social phenomena (social movements, governments, and so on); not individual psychologies. I'm not even certain what a "fascist" mentality would be so long as one stayed within the formal definitions. Perhaps there is one and I've missed it.

So any attempt to label Romney a "fascist" just escapes me. If someone wants to work with the label, fine; it's just not my conversation.
