You lost me on this one - please explain.

I lost you because I did the analysis in a screwy way. Sorry! I did it another way last nite. Here goes:

CPQ has about 750MM shares now at 60/share. It will split, so it will have 1.5B at 30/share. The remaining 1.5B shares (of the 3B authorized shares after 12/11), if used for a purchase that is totally non-dilutive, would be worth 1.5B x 30/share = $45Billion. (ASND at 8 x sales would cost under $10B).
