This entails writing microcode to provide a VGA register level compatible solution for the Mpact family of products. The position also requires the developer to provide a VGA compatible BIOS which will operate in conjunction with the VGA. Responsibilities include: Learn microcode instruction set Develop and support microcode which emulates VGA functionality. Develop and support VGA BIOS to support microcode VGA. Support VESA BIOS extensions including: DPMS and DDC. Support Mpact VGA solution for a variety of motherboard solutions. Requirements: Basic familiarity with IBM compatible hardware/ software environment. Strong knowledge of x86 Instruction Set. Good debugging skills. Strong Computer Science background.
