Religion of all sorts leaves a bad taste in my mouth too, although I absolutely believe in God. I just think men have a way of distorting what God and Jesus said and how they want us to act. Most religions are nothing more than a naked power grab, in my opinion. So we're agreed on that. However, more to the point of our discussion, did our government respond appropriately to the Muslim fanatics' attacks on our embassies? I'd say they did not. They didn't even acknowledge that these were acts of war. Literally, an invasion of US sovereign territory and murder of American citizens. There must be consequences. My preferred consequence would be for us to pull out of Libya and remove all aid and funding.
