$2.50 and your estimate of $4.50 asp leaves a net gain of $2.00 per chip.:-) >>

What about SG&A. If =$180 mil then Net net =0.

dave, are being serious? their asp last q was $6.50. if their net cost (you didn't specify net or gross and their is A BIG, VERY BIG difference) was $2.50 then they would have made 90 mil * $4.00 = $360 mil. they made $50 mil.

in fact they made net profit of about $0.33 per chip when their asp was $6.50. 90 mil * $0.33 = $30 mil = about $0.16 per share. the other $0.17 or so came from muei.

now, according to you, just three months later, they are making $2.00 per chip with an asp of $4.50 - down 30% from $6.50.

let's recap. according to dave, in 3 months pricing is down 30% and income is up 650%.

dave, you are incorrigable. ;-)

>>Imagine if $2.50 is correct<<

i can't. i haven't smoked stuff that good in over a decade ;-)
