Maybe I don't understand it. I admit I have a hard time understanding anyone who believes it's ok to kill other people because they feel insulted. At the end of the day, though, I believe our country should never apologize for Freedom of Speech. It is yet another foundation stone of this country that is getting eroded. None of us should feel intimidated by these crazy Muslims. It is they who need to evolve to incorporate Freedom of Speech, not us who should accommodate their delicate sensitivities.

" The Benghazi consulate attack has got nothing to do with America."

Exactly.

And when it comes to curtailing our freedoms here in order to not upset others, forget it, imo. Egypt has put out warrants for the arrest of several Americans, some conveniently being Coptic Christians who are treated badly in Egypt, over the movie for the "offense" of blasphemy. I don't care what the insult is, including being a perv, we can level any insult we want.

I know people have pointed out (here and a lot on twitter) how Jesus and Moses are prophets to Muslims, but the President of Egypt made clear he would not consider a Christian as President of Egypt because of his religious beliefs. Christians would not be appropriate. I would consider an insult to Jesus a lot less of an insult that that.

Libyan civilians have taken the initiative to defend their country now from the Islamist militias, as they earlier took it from Gaddafi. Egypt, sadly, so far seems to be going in another direction, though there is some brewing among part of the people there.
