Nobody has a right to hurt the feelings of person which are based on religion, sexual orientation, skin color and even non-believers. You said it and I agree, nobody has a right to blasphemy. If someone does not agree with a religion, that person has every right to leave it and go follow another one. But that person has no right to denigrate others and harm religious beliefs.

Christians were the majority in Egypt when it was invaded, yes - invaded - by Arab Muslims, who now refer to it as an Arab country and keep the Coptic Christians in a lower position, as well as other native people there.

It was the height of the Islamic empire which stretched from S. Spain to Pakistan; from Hungary to the Sudan and Somalia. They invented the hospital; developed the concept of zero; performed eye surgery; invented books; discovered coffee; undertook the first glider flight; learned to irrigate the land to produce more crops; they dabbled in chemistry, creating new compounds; developed trigonometry and advanced astronomy and promoted advancements in architecture. Baghdad was its capital where to this day there is still a street called Book Street which is where the world's first books were sold. All this happened while most Christians and Europeans went to bed with fleas and lived in abject poverty during the Dark Ages.

Islam's most beautiful city, Cordoba, Spain, is still an incredible city:
