Michael,

Welcome aboard! I do go several days without responding because I travel a great deal. Anyhow, I have EXHAUSTIVELY researched this company. As well, I have met with several important and prominent people and all like this play. As a matter of fact, their information was one of the key reasons I have acquired some more. Several analysts are feeling that gold will bottom out at $280/ounce. Thus, we may see this play fall just a bit more. However, picking any up below .60 cents is truly a wise investment. Let's face it, 1997 is a writeoff and we are all playing for 1998. I feel that next year will be a tremendous year, specifically for OROP. I also feel that by next year, this play will most probably be bought out by a MAJOR producer. The land OROP has, is indeed excellent and I strongly feel that some major company will realize the great opportunity that exists. Keep in mind, that with prices being so low, a major producer can and will go shopping for quality BARGAINS. I am leaning towards BARRICK GOLD-ABX-TSE. I just have a gut feeling that BARRICK might acquire this play. Barrick has a great deal of cash flow and they should be in a very strong acquistion mode come 1998. I also feel that one of Barrick's key area of expansion is South America, notably Peru! Time will tell, but either way, this play is a very good one. Prices may dip a bit more but watch out for 1st quarter of 1998!!!

Cheers,

ZEUS

Hi Michael

I accumulated some more Oroperu today, what a bargain. I take the Gold Newsletter and this stock has been discussed in several of their monthly reports. They still recommend it despite the current slide in the price of gold. Seven million shares that were from an earlier financing are currently being absorbed by the general market. Add that to tax loss selling, and you have a lower accumulation cost. This is classic value investing.
