MPact does have an encoder... MPEG1 that is. Need I remind you Steve Purcell is a Chromatics founder. Steve is responsible for Cube's first encoders. I wouldn't put anything past Steve and the others at Chromatic, there are a number of quite capable individuals there. The question I have is, do they have the funding to get them through long term. I had hear rumors to the contrary but I think this PC-DVD decoder crap came just in the nick of time. My next question is... When is the Chromatic IPO? Dave (see risk)
