90% of all gold presently above ground did not require oil to produce. It of course required some energy to find and develop, but that's history. Miners, like NGD, produce it at a very low net cost because their efforts also result in silver and copper, which offset the costs of mining gold. But you know that... September has been surprisingly docile.

Not even touching the ground. < and mq thinks the money-printing central banks are or shall get tired> And even without reading anything, you guessed the wrong conclusion somehow. Several generations of central bankers have lived and died and have never yet got exhausted, or even particularly out of breath.
