If you daytrade stocks the maximum you would want to trade is around $1 Million. Any more and you would be unable to effectively move in and out of stocks without distrupting the market.

The consequences of trading larger money would result in using futures and options. Otherwise I believe you would have to complete abandon day trading in favour of position trading.
