On the Boston Herald site the vote was 74% thought Brown won. I though it was about even, after a slow start for Warren, but she won because of the put-down he gave berating her as if she were a professor (at HLS) talking down to her student. From that moment on, she was better.

I did watch it, Ted....I think they're essentially even? As they both were knowledgeable but his answer re: which judge he admires may hurt him but not sure how much...

He won in the smarmy category, imo...."I'm not your student so let me finish my answer" with spoiled frat jock expression was all I needed to know.

Not sure how MA residents and independents will feel about him constantly saying he was independent. Then why does he have R after his name? One dailykos diarist pointed out last night that his voting record is in the 70% range re: voting with R caucus....

I've not had a chance to read the morning reviews....it's going to be very tight....

Here are the BG and Herald's reports on the debate...They both were pretty even handed in their reporting...I'm struck by the BG authors notation that Brown's "I'm not a student...." may trouble voters as apparently he had a short fuse in the first debate...

Re; not being able to name an R? Sheesh....the moderates are being voted our or are retiring?!!!!
