Obama said the role of govt is to improve education. Apparently so because according to Koan a free education to PHD level is the recipe for happiness while everyone that is capable of being useful toils away to pay for it. People are not born like Koan it takes years and years of indoctrination and training. More nonsense. If you look at the last century what you will see is an ever increasing move from dictatorships to republics/democracy. And if you look at the most successful ones like Denmark that have sky high taxes, they have very few rich and very few poor and a very rich middle class. They also have universal health care and almost free education for everyone up to a PHD and they can take as long as they want. The people obey the law, and are considered the happiest people on earth. Isn't a happy society the point of life? And they vote for those high taxes because they understand the value!
