why don't you judge after trying

I have been eating veggies all my life and still eat some. I am supposed to try until I am toes up on a gurney? I just don't go out of my way to eat them. Never liked most of them any way.

Words fail me. You could be doing so much better than you are, why don't you judge after trying, instead of rationalizing your position.

How could a trial inform one's decision re the benefits of adding veggies? What would you test and how would you measure the outcome? I can think of only a few things that would be observable prior to autopsy and even then you (or rather those who get to read your autopsy report) couldn't tell how much veggies were a factor.
