RE: the high speed train.

What is so incredible about one of those trains is that it starts in Fresno and goes to Corcoran. There's nothing left in Fresno since they saved the tiny little Delta smelt fish from extinction and in so doing stopped the water from going to the farms surrounding Fresno, which now lay fallow. And Corcoran? What's there? The most dangerous prison in America - and where Charlie Manson and other high-risk prisoners reside.

RE: I can't think of a better reason for term limits.

Don't forget - we have term limits in California. So we get this huge turnover in the state legislature and a bunch of amateurs with only self-interests to run the state. They don't know anything about governing and only go there to get whatever is on their personal agenda - knowing that they'll be leaving in 4 years.

This state should be leading the nation in everything but the only thing we're leading with are the most asinine ideas out there starting with the high speed train. We really do have, for all practical purposes, an idiocracy
Is there anyone to blame besides the electorate?
