Was hanging around Hong Kong and realized a friend's house happened to have an NEC set top box hanging by his TV. By golly he's a test site for the HK ITV project. I told him I was a plumber and needed to check out his system. It was ... unimpressive. Slow to start. Freezes up once in a while. Not much content. They must be still trying to work out the kinks in the system. They have not yet deployed. Don't listen to the PR garbage. And it is not xDSL. It's an NEC box that seems to be have an ATM line coming out. Peter Piper (your electronic plumber)
