Oh give me a break. Big Pharma is all about maximizing sales and profits. Yes they are, but only after they get the "nod" of the Govt. They don't sell shampoo which does not need the Govt. nod. And the Govt. does not give them the nod if the drugs are not produced with the mentality I mentioned. It is difficult to discuss this with you because you have never worked in one. You have seen it from the outside with the eye of a capitalist which caused you make a typical capitalist comment earlier and with this comment now you reinforced. In a war, casualties are expected. In pharma casualties have no tolerance. They are avoided "at all cost", literally. You just did with your "emergency room health care" story. I didn't expect you to understand it. Stated simply without the Arithmetic, Obamacare make healthcare more affordable by lowering the insurance premiums for all such that those who cannot afford it can now do so and those who can afford it can afford it even more due to lowered cost. With the "emergency room scenario" where people get free services in the chain which is the most expensive, people who are affording slowly get squeezed out because of those who are muching off through free emergency care. Just do the math. More thinking, less talking.
