Ben - thx for the link. Right now, I think the arbitrageurs are holding the cards here. Unless there is good news on the AXNT front, RAPT is very much joint to the hip.

I was thinking about it after my last post, another situation that may develop, in addition to a bidding war scenario, is a dissident shr holder coming out to challenge the decision. The challenge would probably fail since, as I mentioned previously, it got got the blessing from RAPT board. However, that may force AXNT to sweeten the deal (if AXNT is capable of doing so.) In this case, the mkt is actually reasonable to be -ve since the deal offers such a small premium (or none at all, if one considers RAPT trading potentials before the announcement.)

In conclusion, I think RAPT will ve a difficult time to pull itself up together with AXNT.
