On a day when the oil industry is taking a beating, AIPN showing strength up 5/32 to $5 21/32, which is a very positive sign! I would purchase more, but my money currently is in TWA up 7/8 to $8 7/16.

Regarding the rumors of a Mobil stock swap, I REALLY doubt that will happen because from what I've heard, Mobil hasn't really been interested. More plausible would be the rumor of a consortium. 6 companies supposedly are involved in negotiations. My guess would be 1) Amoco 2) Chevron 3) Texaco 4) British Petroleum 5) Lukoil and 6) Hunt.

Forthcoming news will probably not occur in December, rather in the last two weeks of January.

Best regards, GO AIPN!!!
