I encouraged computer games, especially for typing practice, but in general too. <I often wonder whether it would have been better to limit the computer games, > The main thing about learning is to have fun doing it, because that makes the learning enthusiastic. Learning to operate mice and cursors and all the functions of computers and Cyberspace takes place in fun games just as much as in serious studious studying of boring "educational" things. I spent considerable money on computers and connections over the decades so that our children would be able to be on the leading edge of what's going on. I wanted it too.

It turned out that my income and assets are largely founded on Cyberspace as is the income of 1 of our 4 offspring directly, and another indirectly, so I am very pleased with my decisions of quarter of a century ago [and longer ago].
