Just a general thought about the comment that I keep seeing about how big the market is and there is plenty of room for ANCR.

There once was a great cartridge drive maker call Syquest and I really liked their products. Then along came a company called Iomega and they made a small cartridge called the Zip. I though: heck. Syquest is coming out with a better product (more space and faster access) and decided to put my $ in SYQT. Well, most of you know what happened. The Zip drive became the defacto standard in a really BIG market and the last I looked, Syquest is still struggling to keep from going belly-up. I learned my lesson: better product don't matter beans, it's the selling of the product that matters and Brokade is wining this race hands down. The management at ANCR better get their act together because somethimes there is no second act for some companies.

George,

I agree. Once again, I'd like to see a proactive response of some sort from Ancor.

I guess time will tell whether we were right about ANCR or not, but at least the Brocade announcement confirms what we have been saying about the overall Fibre Channel market. It's good to hear it from someone other than us ANCR bulls.
