Which regulation was that?

We had a government encouraging bad loans to people of inadequate means with a guarantee.
We had a banking committee dedicated to the idea everything was just fine.

How can you stop bad mortgages downstream after they had been created by enforcing which law?

The only way to stop bad mortgages from being written was to raise the requirements for applicants.

Just stopping banks from wrapping them up into a ball and selling them to someone else would not stop the bad loans from being written.

But then again libtards are really bad at math - they think food stamps is a program to grow the economy. That you can spend more than you make forever.
