I did object. I did write to SI. That's all I can do. The fact that it doesn't work, doesn't mean I shouldn't try.

People eventually shut up about her death here, I think because of what I said. Of course some of the damage was done- but I did what I could to contain it.

What can you do when people insist on violating other's privacy? It's not like I have ESP- despite suggestions to the contrary here. I can only come in after the fact and do what I can.

Why, instead of engaging in an indecorous and unseemly cat fight, using horrible language, didn't you try to get SI to remove any offending post if you believed it somehow violated privacy concerns? Could it be that you were trolling for a fight?
The horrible language here has been mostly from jlallen. Or at least, he's been the most guilty of it.
