I didn't realize that there were scammers like that on craigslist. Though I have never actually bought or sold anything on craigslist. But yeah, pretty clear that your guy was planning on picking up more than just the toolbox.

Craigslist............scammers

My first experience there was to list a dump trailer for someone I knew for $7k. That seemed like an item of rather esoteric demand. I placed the ad Saturday PM and my friend had cash in hand by Sunday afternoon.

Since I've bought and sold with surprising satisfaction. But there are indeed scammers and their numbers are likely multiplying.

One. like yours, wanted my PayPal details so he could add a $100 premium.
