I have bigger problems with Romney than just using the Poorly chosen word "binders". The issue I have is that he is lying his way. He did not ask for the women's resumes. His hands were forced to look for women. Now, I am also sensitive to how the women feel about themselves when they are refereed to as "something that are lying in binders" and not in the forefront in a newly elected Guv's mind. That was the point in my earlier post.

As I said, I do not like the attitude of his church towards women. And if that is what shaped his attitude towards women, then that is very dangerous to have him at the top. Women cannot be considered a commodity, to be impregnated and not have the power to decide if they need to have babies or not.

To me, Romney signifies the male dominated world of CEO's, something from years past and particularly when we are poised to very likely have our first woman President in 4 years time.

The way some of the jokes are obscures the seriousness of it. The meaning of the binder, and why he, and still many in many places including your most liberal, is needed is because women just aren't lists given out for positions

Chinu, forget that the issue of the binders was extremely patronizing. You do understand that Romney totally lied about this issue. During the election, a group of women provided both candidates a portfolio of women who would be well qualified to work in the administration of either candidate whomever won. He never asked for a binder nor never created one...........the binder came to him even before he became governor.

He made the whole thing up............that's what makes his attitude even more galling to women..........and should upset men as well..........because its the way he sees most people whom he considers beneath him. And then that bit about providing women flex time so they can get home early so they can cook dinner for the hubby and the kids...........that was total BS.

Like I said to Zeta, any woman who votes for Romney is a fool.

Watch the clip I posted to Zeta........
