It's not what happened to me. It's that many of you on this thread refuse to change your opinion when the facts change. It's hope, more than reality on your part. I saw the same thing with the Bush fans. Bush kept doing the same stupid things that didn't work and he was famous for "staying the course". The problem was that his solutions didn't work and he refused to do a course correction, because he thought that "staying the course" was a demonstration of his rectitude and strength. You and others on this thread are demonstrating the same weakness. You want so badly for your guy to be right, that you've begun to ignore all the facts around you. It's classic bias and anchoring. It's not me who's changed. I've always been adaptable to changing circumstances. It's reality and the facts that have changed. Deal with reality as it is, not as you wish it to be.
