I'm also thinking about a Pilot.
I seem to recall from much earlier discussions that a second cradle was a desirable thing. Is this still true?

The store I was looking at is offering a second cradle as an incentive to buy. (Can't recall the other two choices right off hand.)

thanks David, Steve, et al, basically I thought it would be a good device for managing information that he currently keeps on his scheduling software on his computer. I just am not sure that there is adequate memory to be useful. For example, he maintains a very large client list on his scheduling software, and if it could handle it, it would be great for him to be able to check the client list on the road. He could always use a laptop, but I think that's overkill for his purposes. bp

<I use my Pilot extensively...>

One of the things you mentioned doing with the Pilot is address book. Do you use the Pilot address book or another ap that you port to the Pilot? I'm trying to commit to one address book...in my case the one in the Corel suite. I haven't dug around in manuals to find out if I can port to the Pilot. Until I figure that out, I'll be staying with my Day-Timer and Pocket Electrodex. Technologically declasse, but they work for me.
