Thirdly, I think American voters will tell pollsters what they think is the right thing to say early on but as they get closer to the election they get more honest. Plus southern OH is fairly conservative and can be racist. Oh-kay....so even though their economic interests improved/were not decimated by letting GM go bankrupt it does not matter for these folk... God save us... Obama doesn't look like white folks. We have had 100s of years seeing blacks as less than. In 2008, many of those people stayed home. They are not this year. Its a simple as that. Its important to note that during the past 4 years, Obama has grown his GOTV organization...............there are many more offices in the swing states than there were in 2008. I think they anticipated what 2012 would be like.
